The SeaI/O-470E is a powerful Ethernet I/O interface module designed for data acquisition and control applications. It provides 8 differential or 16 single-ended 12-bit A/D inputs, which can be configured for a range of voltage inputs such as 0-5V, 0-10V, +/-5V, +/-10V, and can also be configured for measuring 4-20mA current loops. In addition, the module features 2 12-bit D/A output channels with selectable output ranges of 0-5V or 0-10V.
The module also offers 8 optically isolated inputs, rated for 5-30VDC with 300V external isolation, providing protection from electrical surges and noise. Additionally, it includes 8 open-collector outputs that can sink up to 580mA, ideal for switching 24V devices, which are commonly used in industrial environments.
The SeaI/O-470E communicates over Modbus TCP via Ethernet, providing remote monitoring and control of your system. Developers can integrate the module into custom applications using Sealevel’s SeaMAX API, which is compatible with both Windows and Linux systems.
The module is powered by a 9-30VDC source and is equipped with removable screw terminals for easy field wiring. The Sealevel Modbus Connect iOS app allows users to remotely monitor and test I/O from their mobile devices, making it perfect for field service and diagnostics.
